Malcolm is an experienced practitioner with a robust legal background. He began his legal career in South Africa as an articled clerk in 2015 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2017. Malcolm advanced to become a director at Tatham Wilkes, one of South Africa's oldest law practices, where he managed a busy civil litigation practice, focussing on insurance litigation and family law.
In 2022, Malcolm was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and joined Vogt Legal in 2023. He works closely with Will Vogt, focusing on building and construction dispute resolution.
Malcolm's key competencies include legal writing, trial work, and dispute resolution. His legal interests lie in building and construction law, commercial litigation, and family law. Malcolm values personal connections with his clients and is dedicated to meeting their individual needs.
Based permanently in Hilton, South Africa, Malcolm works remotely for Vogt Legal and occasionally travels to Western Australia for trial work.
Outside of work, Malcolm is passionate about off-road motorcycles and serves as the secretary of the Hilton Off-Road Club.
